I have just checked out my goodreads.com page and found out that I have read (ONLY) 27 books last year. Not bad, but I wish I did read more.
I’m a book lover. But, since I have to be wiser in spending money, I managed to keep my hands away in bookstores. I only bought those I knew I would read. Well, I did buy 2 or 3 [ok, 7 or 8] books that I haven’t read up until now. But, I promise, I will.
“Books give you knowledge.” (Tim Sanders)
They do. When I read fictions, I feel like learning people’s characters. When I read non-fictions, I feel like I become a better person, I know more than before.
Everytime my family and I go to a bookstore, I always let mu daughter choose one book that she likes. I will buy her another book that I think she would love and get knowledge from.
It’s fun seeing how my daughter being passionate about books. In a few years, I bet her collection is a lot more than mine.
I haven’t counted how many books she has read since she was born. But, I think, I will, anytime soon. She could have read more than I did.
I plan to read more this year. But, since January, I only have finished 2 books, 2 others are still being read.
I wish I were a quick reader.
Don’t forget to ask me by the end of this year how many books I’ll finish reading.

teeheee..:) I will ask you at the end of the year how many books you have read
But it’s all about quality mbak Nad.
Hahaha…
I hope at the end of the year, I’ll be able to say, “28, at least better than last year
agree about quality…but sometimes the number of books my friends listed at their goodreads.com page haunts me…
I agree. Quantity doesn’t matter, Nad:)
