Inspiring Quotes

open-door1It’s been almost a month since I got these messages from this person on my YM. I don’t think I know him or even added him on my list. But, he keeps sending them anyway.

Normally, I would ask him to stop doing it. But, it’s beyond normal. Because, what he sends might make my day.

Quotes after quotes come to me every single day. Yes, he’s been sending very very inspiring quotes to me…right when I need them.

I do love quotes, especially beautiful ones. There were times when I looked for some and collected them in a file, which I seem to lose. Now, thanks to him, I feel like doing it again.

And, guess what I’ve just found on this blog of inspiring messages:

“If U Don’t Hear Opportunity Knocking, Find Another Door.” (I don’t know who said it)

That one sounds funny, doesn’t it? But, if you really think about it, you will find it interesting.

doorWould you wait in front of a door and wish that opportunity would knock on it? Or, would you rather just find another door with a better chance?

Taking option one means that you don’t actually do anything. Waiting is passive.

On the contrary, taking the second option, at least you get a 50% of chance that the opportunity might come to you. That’s the great thing about being active.

Move, move, and move. That’s the key of success.

About less than a month ago, the boss called me and told me that the company had decided to terminate my contract by reason of efficiency. I knew that it would come. But, I was just not ready.

knockYet, I didn’t let myself get drowned. I took a breath and made decisions. What I did was getting other doors on which I though the opportunity would knock. And, yes, it knocked several times on those various doors I was approaching.

My point is…open your heart, open your eyes, open your ears. Absorb those beautiful words and try to apply them in your life. They don’t have to come from the most famous motivator. Even words from a little kid might mean something, as long as you can see beyond the words themselves. Also, expose yourself to let opportunity knocks on your doors.
