WordCamp Indonesia
Posted in activities on 01/28/2009 09:45 pm by Nadiah AlwiSince this blog uses WordPress as its CMS, I’d like to share about my experiences on WordCamp Indonesia.
Although I was not feeling too well and the occasion was held on weekend, I managed to come anyway. And, I felt great to be there.
Meeting Matt, Mr. Nukman, Michael Jubel, Pitra, Dea, Citra; listening to inspiring words from Nanda, Ong, Romi; those were wonderful.
Can’t wait ’til the next WordCamp!
However, there have been other attendances talking about stuff we learned on WordCamp. And, no one said anything about the food.
Let me do it then.
The food was great. Matt also admitted that. At first, I thought he wouldn’t like them because they were kinda spicy. But, to my surprise, he loved them. Especially the chips with chilli.
He said, originating from Texas, he was used to spicy food. Wow!
I had a different experience on the food. During the coffe break, I enjoyed the poffertjes and crêpes (pancake). Why? Because, we ate them with chocolate sauce. My favorite!
A few years ago, I took 3.5 years of Dutch courses in Erasmus Huis Taalcentrum, where WordCamp Indonesia took place. And, I almost never missed any single session without spending time in the cafe (well, unless when I was lack of money, of course).
The food, the place, the programs, they were all great. It was so inspiring that I decided to create this blog.
